Financials & transparency
We’re a new charity built on eight years of documented giving. Here’s how the money works, what we publish, and where to verify all of it.
100%
to programs and products
Our founding partner, Saalt, pays for all administrative expenses — staffing, operations, overhead, everything — so 100% of public donations fund period care products, education, clean water, and scholarships.
Any purchases from Saalt are made at arm’s length under the board’s written conflict-of-interest policy.
Saalt Foundation was recognized as a public charity effective November 20, 2025. Some standard nonprofit documents accrue with time — this page always shows what exists and what’s coming.
Annual impact reports (2018–2025)
Eight years of programs, partners, and numbers — published every year since the first donation.
IRS determination letter
Our 501(c)(3) recognition, dated June 1, 2026, exemption effective November 20, 2025. Posted for donor verification.
Form 990
Our first annual IRS filing covers the Foundation's first fiscal year and will be posted here as soon as it's filed.
Audited financial statements
Planned as the Foundation grows; until then, the impact reports and Form 990 are the primary public record.
Every fact below can be checked against IRS records using our EIN.
Third-party profiles (Candid/GuideStar, Charity Navigator) become available after our first Form 990 is filed — links will appear here as each goes live.
Program updates and the annual report, a few times a year. No asks between.
